Fall 2011
One year after the shocking events at
the „Club“ and the bomb attack on the stadium Charlotte “Charly” Braun gets a
new risky job: Her new client is Farid
Nizami, an oppositional writer from Iran, who has been
awarded a writers-in-exile scholarship in Nürnberg by the internationally
well-known writers’ association P.E.N. Charlotte sets up several rules of
conduct but Farid just ignores them – only after an attack on the car of a
friend he cooperates. The C.I.D. Nürnberg receive a letter
from a radical-islamist group claiming
responsibility for the attack, however, not only Charlotte doubts their
credibility. After a second attack it becomes clear that the danger is nearer
than expected; there must be a mole in Farid’s
direct surroundings. While trying to protect Farid
Charlotte risks her own life … Allitera Verlag, München Pb, 184 p, EUR 14,90 [D] ISBN 978-3-86906-165-8 |
